Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken
- 1 cup chopped red onion
- 1 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
- 3 bay leaves
- 2-3 red dried chili
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp. paprika powder
- 2 tsp. chicken curry powder
- 1 tsp. red chili powder
- salt as taste
- 1 tsp. garlic, ginger paste
- 1 tsp green chili paste
- 3 tbsp. oil
- 1. Heat up oil in a frying pot.
- 2. Fry cumin seeds, bay leaves and dried chili.
- 3.Fry the chicken pieces for about a minute in a high heat.
- 4. Add turmeric, paprika powder and fry until the water and fat evaporated.
- 5.Cook for about 7- 10 minutes.
- 6. Add chicken curry powder , red chili powder, salt, ginger, garlic and green chili paste.
- 7. Stir it well to get the spices into the meat.
- 8. Add the chopped onion and fry for 5 minute.
- 9. Add chopped tomato and cooked for another 5 minutes.
- 10. Pour half cup of water and cook well till water evaporated.
- 11. Then add coriander and ready to be searved.

अनि हरियो खुर्सानी को पेस्ट मिसाउनु
७. सब हालेरा राम्रो संगा मिलाउनु
८. काटेको प्याज हालेरा ५ मिनट भुट्नु
९. काटेको टमाटर हालेरा ५ मिनट भुट्नु
१०. आधा कप तातो पानी हालेरा पकाउनु पानी सुखाउने सम्मा
११. पछि धनिया हालेरा पस्किनु लाई तैयार छ
For marination
- 1 kg chicken
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp Kashmir red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 4 tsp mustard oil
- 2-3 cloves (crushed )
- 5-6 black peppercorns (crushed)
- 1 inch cinnamon (crushed)
- 3-4 dry red chili
- 2 cup onion (grated)
- 1 tsp ginger chopped
- 1 tsp garlic chopped
- 1 cup tomato grated
- 1 cup curd ( whisked with 2 tsp maida )
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- salt to taste
- 2 tsp kasthuri methi
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- heat oil in a pan.
- Once the oil is hot, add crushed cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon, black cardamom and dry red chillies and let them crackle for a few seconds.
- Add onion and fry until slightly browned.
- Add ginger and garlic and fry until onion is nicely browned.
- Now add chicken along with the marinade and cook on high heat for 4-5 minutes.
- Add tomato and cook for 4-5 minutes
- Add curd and cook for another 3-4 minutes
- Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder and salt to taste and cover and cook until chicken is done.
- Add garam masala powder and kasuri methi and cook for another minute. Serve hot .
